Jeden Morgen war das Frühstück köstlich, allerdings fehlte uns dabei etwas Leichtigkeit, da der Manager als Lehrer an unseren Tisch kam, um auf das Abendessen aufmerksam zu machen, an dem wir unbedingt teilnehmen mussten. Das Abendessen-Konzept ist großartig, aber nicht jedermanns Sache, also lassen Sie es sein. Empfehlenswert ist die Wanderung, die vom Tal aus startet. Wirklich traumhaft schön!

Si buscas paz y tranquilidad, buen desayuno( tipo buffet) en un ambiente puro de naturaleza es tu sitio. La Limpieza y la cortesía del servicio de habitaciones y cocina así... leer más como recepción es de resaltar, trato del personal muy profesional y agradable. Cuenta con parking privado gratuito y se agradece, pero no esperes grandes comodidades en este.

Beautiful place

Me and my husband visited Almunia del Valle in mid February and we stayed three nights. We were greeted by a very polite and friendly staff who showed us around... leer más and told us about different things we could do while staying at the hotel. This was especially helpful when we decided to do the "La Ruta de los Cahorros de Monachil", an 2.5-3 hour walk along the Monachil river and mountains (absolutely fantastic views and crazy yet wonderful terrain!). The owner Patricia gave us a map and pointed out every turn and route to follow. As the hotel is located between Granada (around 7 km) and Sierra Nevada (around 24 km), it is possible to enjoy both city life as well as the nature. We went hiking everyday and it was very easy to find different routes to enjoy. If you love nature, then this location is perfect! We did not go skiing, but we know other guests who went to Sierra Nevada during the day and they seemed happy with travel distance. We had dinner at the hotel all three nights and we were delighted every time. The waiter Paolo was kind and attentive and helped me pick out the perfect wine to accompany the meal. He also made a great gin and tonic! The last night they served "secreto iberico" and it was the tastiest pork we had ever eaten, so succulent and cooked to perfection. We definitely recommend having dinner at the hotel. Breakfast was also great with a variety of breads, fruits, pastries, yoghurt, juice, coffee, cooked options etc. The hotel was very clean and our room was newly renovated to a high standard. Even tough it was cold outside, the hotel felt warm and cosy. The decorations in the hotel are also well thought through and we really felt that it was our second home during our stay. Apart from great food and the excellent location we cannot emphasise enough how amazing the staff really is. Patricia is a lovely owner who takes pride in her work and treats her staff with respect and isn't afraid to ask for feedback in order to improve her service. We appreciated that all the staff took their time to talk to us and ask us if we need anything. We also noticed the green and sustainable initiative of working with local distributors, using solar panels, replacing plastics etc, as well as conserving the natural and cultural heritage of the surrounding areas. En este caso no sé por dónde empezar, nos ha encantado todo, el hotel está en un sitio idílico, las vistas son maravillosas y el ambiente es de paz y... leer más tranquilidad. Nosotros tuvimos la “suerte” de viajar con una niña pequeña y dos perritas, y hemos estado muy bien, pero la mayoría de clientes son parejas que buscan la tranquilidad que ofrece lugar. Destacar también la amabilidad de todo el personal, desde las recepcionistas, la dueña del hotel, el jardinero, las camareras y los demás trabajadores, muy atentos a cada detalle. A las habitaciones no le falta ni un detalle para que la estancia sea de diez. Y el hecho de que admitan a nuestras perritas y las acojan tan bien, nos ha encantado. Sin duda volveremos, a ser posible en pareja, para poder disfrutar al máximo de la experiencia que ofrece el lugar 😉
