We spent 4D3N in Feb 23. Greatly impressed by the sustainability focus of the hotel, fresh produce as seen in the scrumptious breakfast (menu changes daily), cosy decor, warm and... leer más sincere hospitality. Special thanks to Patricia for checking in with the guests everyday and offering tips on the Granada area. Oh, and do offer Pipa and Fermin some pets when you are there 🐶

A wonderful little family owned hotel. The way up the hill needs getting used to it. But it's worth every metre. The staff is so friendly, the breakfast is just gorgeous,... leer más the room we had was a dream. You find a lot of art and useful things there. You can have dinner if you want. We hadn't the time for it. But when coming home - that's the right word for this hotel - we saw that the other sojourners were still sitting and enjoying. What we tried was the superb red wine. Go there and feel like in heaven!

Wunderschönes, mit viel Liebe, Herz und Arbeit geführtes Hotel. Sowohl die Eigentümer als auch das gesamte Team geben den Gästen das Gefühl bei Freunden eingeladen zu sein. Das Frühstück ist... leer más sehr abwechslungsreich und, wie das Abendessen, sehr gut. Die Zimmer und Suiten sind mit viel Geschmack und liebe, modern eingerichtet. Hier kann man aktiv sein (wandern), relaxen (Pool) oder aber Kultur (Granada) erleben.

Vous aimerez le charme du lieu avec sa vue sur la Sierra Nevada. Vous aimerez sa piscine à l'eau salée et ses translates sous les oliviers. Vous aimerez la propreté... leer más des lieux et le professionnalisme des équipes est juste fabuleux. On y mange très bien avec des produits du terroir. Idem pour leur petit-déjeuners gourmands. Foncez !

Me and my husband visited Almunia del Valle in mid February and we stayed three nights. We were greeted by a very polite and friendly staff who showed us around... leer más and told us about different things we could do while staying at the hotel. This was especially helpful when we decided to do the "La Ruta de los Cahorros de Monachil", an 2.5-3 hour walk along the Monachil river and mountains (absolutely fantastic views and crazy yet wonderful terrain!). The owner Patricia gave us a map and pointed out every turn and route to follow. As the hotel is located between Granada (around 7 km) and Sierra Nevada (around 24 km), it is possible to enjoy both city life as well as the nature. We went hiking everyday and it was very easy to find different routes to enjoy. If you love nature, then this location is perfect! We did not go skiing, but we know other guests who went to Sierra Nevada during the day and they seemed happy with travel distance. We had dinner at the hotel all three nights and we were delighted every time. The waiter Paolo was kind and attentive and helped me pick out the perfect wine to accompany the meal. He also made a great gin and tonic! The last night they served "secreto iberico" and it was the tastiest pork we had ever eaten, so succulent and cooked to perfection. We definitely recommend having dinner at the hotel. Breakfast was also great with a variety of breads, fruits, pastries, yoghurt, juice, coffee, cooked options etc. The hotel was very clean and our room was newly renovated to a high standard. Even tough it was cold outside, the hotel felt warm and cosy. The decorations in the hotel are also well thought through and we really felt that it was our second home during our stay. Apart from great food and the excellent location we cannot emphasise enough how amazing the staff really is. Patricia is a lovely owner who takes pride in her work and treats her staff with respect and isn't afraid to ask for feedback in order to improve her service. We appreciated that all the staff took their time to talk to us and ask us if we need anything. We also noticed the green and sustainable initiative of working with local distributors, using solar panels, replacing plastics etc, as well as conserving the natural and cultural heritage of the surrounding areas. So important. We had an amazing time and we will definitely be back! Ida and Tomas

Estuvimos este fin de semana en la habitacion doble superior, si en fotos era bonita en persona mucho mas, todo super limpio y bonito. El servicio encantador, desde la propietaria... leer más hasta el personal del bar. Un lugar donde descansar y desconectar y poder disfrutar de una ruta preciosa “Los cahorros”. Lo recomendamos 100% y estoy segura de que volveremos. Enhorabuena por este maravilloso hotel que se merece en mi opinion mas de 3* !

Das schönste Hotel in dem ich je war! Das Hotel ist super schön gelegen. Das Personal ist sehr sehr lieb und man fühlt sich wie zu Hause! Das Essen ist... leer más perfekt und super lecker. Selbst auf essenswünsche wird eingegangen und als veganer wird für einen extra gekocht. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und immer sauber. Ich würde immer wieder dort hin fahren und kann es nur Wärmstens weiter empfehlen. Ein wunderbares Erlebnis!
