Gorgeous location, beautiful place, warm welcome, tasty plates (breakfast, diner)...everything was perfect at « la almunia del vallee »

Such a lovely place! Close to Granada and in the middle of Sierra Nevada. Great place to relax and enjoy good food with the greatest staff. Highly recommend this hotel!!

Such an amazing hotel ! Nested in the mountains - surrounded by breathtaking views our stay with simply perfect . From the warm welcoming of the owner - Patricia who... leer más spent so much time helping us out and advising on what to see . To the superb room with a beautiful balcony and surprising shower. Dinner was impeccable - fresh products from the surroundings . Breakfast so generous with home made breads juices , regional cheese , and what not . And the wine ( red white cava you name it ) all from the area and so tasty . We were lucky to close the season and celebrate last week end with the other guests and the staff around a glass of cava . A memorable experience. A perfect stay and great choice for those willing to visit Grenada but looking for a special stay. We will be back !

A wonderful little family owned hotel. The way up the hill needs getting used to it. But it's worth every metre. The staff is so friendly, the breakfast is just gorgeous,... leer más the room we had was a dream. You find a lot of art and useful things there. You can have dinner if you want. We hadn't the time for it. But when coming home - that's the right word for this hotel - we saw that the other sojourners were still sitting and enjoying. What we tried was the superb red wine. Go there and feel like in heaven!

Everything is wonderful

We loved our stay at the Almunia del Valle. First, the staff and owner were incredibly warm and accommodating -- we had a few special requests that they were... leer más very happy to assist with. We did dinner at the Almunia both nights, and breakfast was included. Every meal there was among the best we had on our trip to Spain. There was great variety, especially at breakfast. The handpicked wine list supplied excellent accompaniment to the excellent food each night. Every room faces the beautiful view of the valley and mountains. And it is striking how remote it feels while being so close to Monachil and Granada. The grounds are small, but very well maintained. We would also recommend the Los Cohorros hike, which begins about 500 meters from the Almunia. We would love to stay there again.

One of the best rural hotels I have stayed at and the dogs are cute & friendly. We look forward to visiting again when we visit the area again 100%

We spent 4D3N in Feb 23. Greatly impressed by the sustainability focus of the hotel, fresh produce as seen in the scrumptious breakfast (menu changes daily), cosy decor, warm and... leer más sincere hospitality. Special thanks to Patricia for checking in with the guests everyday and offering tips on the Granada area. Oh, and do offer Pipa and Fermin some pets when you are there 🐶
