Un lugar idílico para pasar unos días cerquita de Granada, en plena naturaleza. Ya había estado en este boutique-hotel varias veces, pero nunca en verano: disfrutar de la piscina infinita,... leer más con el césped impecable y la sombra de los olivos centenarios mirando a Sierra Nevada es una maravilla. Las habitaciones, tan acogedoras y bien decoradas como siempre. A ello se une el magnífico trato que regala el personal, incluidos los dueños, Patricia y Manuel, a todos los huéspedes. ¡Y unos desayunos y cenas de 10! Un verdadero sentido de la acogida y del turismo responsable. ¡Recomendable al 100x100!

Me and my husband visited Almunia del Valle in mid February and we stayed three nights. We were greeted by a very polite and friendly staff who showed us around... leer más and told us about different things we could do while staying at the hotel. This was especially helpful when we decided to do the "La Ruta de los Cahorros de Monachil", an 2.5-3 hour walk along the Monachil river and mountains (absolutely fantastic views and crazy yet wonderful terrain!). The owner Patricia gave us a map and pointed out every turn and route to follow. As the hotel is located between Granada (around 7 km) and Sierra Nevada (around 24 km), it is possible to enjoy both city life as well as the nature. We went hiking everyday and it was very easy to find different routes to enjoy. If you love nature, then this location is perfect! We did not go skiing, but we know other guests who went to Sierra Nevada during the day and they seemed happy with travel distance. We had dinner at the hotel all three nights and we were delighted every time. The waiter Paolo was kind and attentive and helped me pick out the perfect wine to accompany the meal. He also made a great gin and tonic! The last night they served "secreto iberico" and it was the tastiest pork we had ever eaten, so succulent and cooked to perfection. We definitely recommend having dinner at the hotel. Breakfast was also great with a variety of breads, fruits, pastries, yoghurt, juice, coffee, cooked options etc. The hotel was very clean and our room was newly renovated to a high standard. Even tough it was cold outside, the hotel felt warm and cosy. The decorations in the hotel are also well thought through and we really felt that it was our second home during our stay. Apart from great food and the excellent location we cannot emphasise enough how amazing the staff really is. Patricia is a lovely owner who takes pride in her work and treats her staff with respect and isn't afraid to ask for feedback in order to improve her service. We appreciated that all the staff took their time to talk to us and ask us if we need anything. We also noticed the green and sustainable initiative of working with local distributors, using solar panels, replacing plastics etc, as well as conserving the natural and cultural heritage of the surrounding areas. Por ubicación, el hotel se encuentra en un sitio privilegiado, a... leer más un paso de Sierra Nevada, en un pueblo mágico (Monachil) y a su vez muy cerquita de la ciudad Granada (10min) Por alojamiento, tanto las instalaciones como las habitaciones tienen un encanto especial cada una con su toque personal que hacen que sean tan auténticas. Pero sobre todo por lo humano; Gracias Patricia y Manuel por liderar este proyecto y hacer posible que esto pueda existir junto a un equipo de grandes personas que cada vez que volvemos año tras año os superáis, sois muy grandes, EQUIPAZO! hasta la próxima!👋

We loved our stay at the Almunia del Valle. First, the staff and owner were incredibly warm and accommodating -- we had a few special requests that they were... leer más very happy to assist with. We did dinner at the Almunia both nights, and breakfast was included. Every meal there was among the best we had on our trip to Spain. There was great variety, especially at breakfast. The handpicked wine list supplied excellent accompaniment to the excellent food each night. Every room faces the beautiful view of the valley and mountains. And it is striking how remote it feels while being so close to Monachil and Granada. The grounds are small, but very well maintained. We would also recommend the Los Cohorros hike, which begins about 500 meters from the Almunia. We would love to stay there again.

Situated at the edge of the Parque Nacional Sierra Nevada, this boutique hotel has a unique view from the terrace. The owners made this a beautiful and cosy place. Each... leer más room is uniquely styled by Patricia. The garden is lush and green with lots of fruit. Food is great. I highly recommend a visit.
