We loved our stay at the Almunia del Valle. First, the staff and owner were incredibly warm and accommodating -- we had a few special requests that they were... leer más very happy to assist with. We did dinner at the Almunia both nights, and breakfast was included. Every meal there was among the best we had on our trip to Spain. There was great variety, especially at breakfast. The handpicked wine list supplied excellent accompaniment to the excellent food each night. Every room faces the beautiful view of the valley and mountains. And it is striking how remote it feels while being so close to Monachil and Granada. The grounds are small, but very well maintained. We would also recommend the Los Cohorros hike, which begins about 500 meters from the Almunia. We would love to stay there again.

Just a tremendous experience all the way around. We have found the Spanish people to be among the friendliest in the world, and the staff of the Almunia del Valle... leer más might be the friendliest people in Spain. Incredible service is probably the thing we will most remember... ...though the room, the views, and the food are all incredibly memorable as well. It's such a quiet, relaxing spot, and yet only 20 minutes from Granada and an hour from the Mediterranean beaches. We look forward to returning as soon as humanly possible!

Such an amazing hotel ! Nested in the mountains - surrounded by breathtaking views our stay with simply perfect . From the warm welcoming of the owner - Patricia who... leer más spent so much time helping us out and advising on what to see . To the superb room with a beautiful balcony and surprising shower. Dinner was impeccable - fresh products from the surroundings . Breakfast so generous with home made breads juices , regional cheese , and what not . And the wine ( red white cava you name it ) all from the area and so tasty . We were lucky to close the season and celebrate last week end with the other guests and the staff around a glass of cava . A memorable experience. A perfect stay and great choice for those willing to visit Grenada but looking for a special stay. We will be back !

Wunderbarer Ort zum Entspannen, Wandern und Erkunden von Granada aus. Die Atmosphäre ist schick, lässig, entspannt, ruhig. Die Aussicht ist wunderschön und das Hotel auch. Bei der Ankunft erhielten wir... leer más eine kurze Führung mit Informationen zum nachhaltigen Konzept und zur Geschichte. Jeden Morgen war das Frühstück köstlich, allerdings fehlte uns dabei etwas Leichtigkeit, da der Manager als Lehrer an unseren Tisch kam, um auf das Abendessen aufmerksam zu machen, an dem wir unbedingt teilnehmen mussten. Das Abendessen-Konzept ist großartig, aber nicht jedermanns Sache, also lassen Sie es sein. Empfehlenswert ist die Wanderung, die vom Tal aus startet. Wirklich traumhaft schön!

Un verdadero placer disfrutar en La Almunia junto con Patricia y Manuel y su maravilloso equipo en esta nueva andadura. Vine aquí con mi esposa como nuestro primer destino en nuestra luna de miel y superó todas las expectativas. La ubicación era perfecta y parecía alejada del bullicio de Granada,... leer más pero era muy fácil llegar a la ciudad para ver los lugares de interés. La caminata a la que se puede acceder a pie desde el complejo fue una manera hermosa de ver el área, y la piscina fue un regreso bienvenido durante el calor. Todo el personal fue muy genuino y servicial, e hizo que nuestra estancia fuera inolvidable durante mucho tiempo. Las habitaciones son muy limpias, cómodas y lindas. También recomendaría comer allí al menos una noche durante su estadía, ya que la comida es de origen local y está deliciosamente preparada. Sentarse en su terraza viendo la puesta de sol fue uno de nuestros mejores momentos. ¡No puedo recomendar este lugar lo suficiente y estamos emocionados de volver!
